Our Seniors Resource Coordinator provides or arranges a variety of educational and training programs in the community.
Programs Offered
Emergency Response Information Kit (E.R.I.K.®)
This program was developed in conjunction with Winnipeg Paramedic Services and is an effective tool for seniors and other community members to maintain a current, accessible record of their medical conditions and instructions for care in the event of an emergency.

Community Resources
Community Updates: Once a month, SWSRC sends out a newsletter to our community and friends. This contains information on programs, activities, and educational workshops in the community and across the city.

Pop-Up Events: To better connect with our community, SWSRC’s Seniors Resource Coordinator hosts pop-up events at various community facilities, libraries, and clinics. If you would like to schedule a presentation, please contact us!
This enables us to be in the community, reducing many barriers for individuals wanting to access information.
